Immediately hiring an experienced Flooring Installer for a large commercial flooring company in San Antonio.
Job Details:
- Pay is $20-$35/hr. based on experience and skills.
- Schedule is Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm with OT available.
Duties:
- Install commercial flooring materials, including carpet, tile, sheet vinyl, luxury vinyl tile (LVT), vinyl composition tile (VCT), rubber flooring, and laminate in commercial and corporate facilities.
- Measure, cut, and fit flooring materials to ensure accurate installation and a professional finish.
- Prepare subfloors by cleaning, leveling, grinding, patching, and removing existing flooring before installation.
- Apply adhesives, sealants, and moisture barriers according to manufacturer specifications and project requirements.
- Install cove base, transition strips, stair treads, and trim to complete flooring projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and work orders to determine layout, material requirements, and installation methods.
- Operate hand and power tools, including floor scrapers, grinders, rollers, seam cutters, and heat welders.
- Corporate office buildings, historical landmarks, restorations.
- Carpentry, flooring installs/removals, ceramic, carpet, vinyl, wood.
Requirements:
- Must have commercial flooring experience
- Seeking at least 4 years' experience in flooring
- Must have own tools
- Must have reliable transportation
