About the Job
Immediately hiring a Welding Finisher Grinder for a fabrication shop in San Antonio. The Finisher Grinder will be responsible for finishing, smoothing, and polishing stainless-steel surfaces following sanitary guidelines. Please call/text 210-664-2680.
Pay is up to $25/hr. depending on experience
Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm (OT based on production)
Duties:
- Inspect finished parts for defects, imperfections, and adherence to NSF specifications.
- Remove welds, burrs, and excess material from stainless steel parts to achieve the desired finish.
- Operate grinding machines, power tools, and hand tools to grind, smooth, and polish stainless steel surfaces.
- Prepare stainless steel surfaces for welding, painting, or other finishing processes.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a grinder, finisher, or similar role in a stainless-steel fabrication shop.
- Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled (open-air) shop.
- Familiarity with various grinding techniques and equipment.
