About the Job
Immediately hiring a Manufacturing Tool & Die Tech for a large manufacturing company on the southside of San Antonio.
Job Details:
- Pay is up to $21/hr. Based on experience.
- Shift is Mon-Fri 10am-6:30pm (overtime as required).
Duties:
- Able to replace / rework if any tool elements are found worn out, broken, chipped, etc.
- Inspecting dies and molds for wear, cracks, or dull edges, and cleaning or replacing damaged components.
- Set up and operate CNC machines.
- Diagnosing mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic issues directly on the production floor.
- Solve tooling issues if any found during running the mold.
- Receive new mold’s & conducting incoming inspection.
- Responsible for changing the mold tool in molding.
- Assemble tool and ensure all shot-offs are perfectly matched.
- Reading technical drawings and using precision measuring tools like micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or ED preferred.
- Must have experience in mold assembly.
- Seeking at least 2 years hands on machine shop or tool room experience.
